[BUILDING LOCATION]
The "Fire Life Safety Director" ["FLSD"], for your building is the person in charge during all emergencies or incidents that may occur that may threaten the lives or safety of the [Property Name] or building occupants.
You are required to follow the orders and instructions of the FLSD, regardless of the incident.
The following are commands that may be issued by the FLSD as part of a response to an emergency or incident:

The "Shelter-in-Place" announcement from the FLSD means that you are required to remain in your current work location until it has been determined otherwise. You are required to remain at your place of employment until an "All Clear" order is given.

When the "Shelter-in-Place" announcement is made, immediately lock all access doors to your retail location before "sheltering."

The "Shelter-in-Place" for your location should be at the rear of the facility, or in an office or storage area that is out of view. You should not conduct any retail business activities while a "Shelter-in-Place" order is in effect.

"Shelter-in-Place" intructions will be announced on the building''s public address system by the FLSD, along with follow-up and additional instructions as needed. Do not un-shelter until the "All-Clear" announcement is given, or other instructions are received. In some instances, Law Enforcement will conduct a search of an entire area and escort individuals to safety as areas are deemed "cleared and safe," which is why you should remain "sheltered" until advised to un-shelter or Law Enforcement personnel clear your location to be safe.

This instruction from the FLSD might involve directions to "partially-" or "fully-evacuate" the [Property Name]. There are many different reasons for an evacuation order, and most are the result of an incident, or the potential for an incident to occur, that the FLSD has deemed that emptying the building of people would be the best action to take.

During the evacuation instructions, certain stairways, escalators, and exits may be compromised or inaccessible, and the FLSD will announce those areas that are restricted for exiting the premises. Identification of the stairways or exits that are safe, or should be used, will also be made during the announcement. In many instances, the elevators/escaltors may not be accessible and the FLSD will advise occupants if that is the situation.

Every building has a pre-designated Primary and Secondary Outside Assembly Area, which is the location to which you should proceed when the evacuation order has been issued. These locations for your building are identified below.

When evacuating, you should take your personal possessions with you because access to certain areas of the building may be limited or restricted following the emergency, even though the "All-Clear" has been announced.

When arriving at the designated Outside Assembly Area, you should "check-in" with the designated representative to let them know you have relocated as required.

The links below open a floor plan for your evacuation routes to exit the [Property Name] along with maps to the "Primary Assembly Area" and the "Alternate Assembly Area", both of which are outside and safety away from Brookfield Place.

Under the "Shelter-in-Place" situations, when the incident that prompted these two emergency response actions has ended and it is safe to return to your place of employment, the FLSD will make an "All-Clear" announcement on the public address system. At that time, you should return to your work location in a calm and controlled manner. The "All-Clear" announcement also means you may resume normal retail operations within the [Property Name].

While at an Outside Assembly Area, the "All-Clear" information may be relayed to you by your company representative, building staff personnel, or by law enforcement personnel at the location. These are the only individuals who can issue the "official" change of status. Do not respond to notifications from any other individuals insomuch as the "All-Clear" may be rumors or the individuals are not informed of the current status of the incident prompting the evacuations.
